I do Varsity track and field, completed more than 500 hrs of community service, in clubs like: Best Buddies (helping disabled children), Girls’ League (Breast Cancer Awareness), American Cancer Society, Key Club (Community volunteering), A.M.O (Animal Cruelty Awareness), and the Science Olympiad. I started medical volunteering my sophmore year at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Upland, CA. I took AP Bio, AP Chem, AP US History, Calc I and II AP, Chinese IV AP, English III H and AP Lit, AP Econ/Civics, AP Art History. I tutor Algebra for middle school students and also volunteer in a community-based volunteering for teens program. I work at a soup kitchen on Saturday mornings, and sometimes on Sunday I work at a retirement home too. I am Vice President of Best Buddies (I enjoy working with kids!), and also historian of Key Club. I perform at my school’s talent shows and rallies by singing and guitar playing, sometimes piano. I interned for St. Jude’s Children’s hospital in mid of my junior year. I was a CIF Finalist for 2 years for track distance.
With all this being said, I wanna become a pediatrician in the near future. Any thoughts on which colleges will accept me? Particularly colleges with good medical programs?
Johns Hopkins? : )

go to John Hopkins or Harvard they’re the best
you are supposed to go through 4 years of Pre-Med prog. After that, you apply to Med School. For undergrad prog. I’d suggest you to go to a State School first, then for the Med school, go to a prestigious one like Cornell, UCLA, Brown, BU etc.
so you are not done with college yet? i would worry about that first then med school. college is a lot different and harder. i actually work here at Hopkins and its a great program, but i will say is way competitive all around the world. so i would think if you were one of the best in the US than maybe. but you dont know about college yet so get through that first.
